My Worst Secret Is …
I was living with my grandparents when my Grandpa died. We knew he was frugal but didn’t know he made a bunch of money and stashed it away. My Grandma was pretty much mentally out of it too at this point. Since I was the only one near by and around when he died, my Grandma and I were responsible for consolidating accounts, closing things, paper work, etc.
Since my parents, aunts and uncles, and everyone were all a few states away and trusted that I would take care of everything: I reported to them that Grandpa had $120,000 that no one knew about (when really it was $193,000). It didn’t take much effort to lie, get my grandma to sign a few things before I had $73,000 more in my bank account and then closed the account it came from. That was 5 years ago, and she’s passed away and I’ve never told anyone – even my new wife.

hmm don’t worry about it… it’s no good to them now they’re both dead
I’ve contacted your aunt and your mother. They now know about it. Way to let it out of the bag. Oh, and your totals are a bit off anyway.
Seriously, how emotionally retarded do you have to be to think that this comment is funny. And if it is true (highly unlikely), are you really dumb enough to tell him to get a head start? It’s like a fucking villains monologue in the comic books…
in my opinion, you earned that money. Who else was around to help you and your grandmother with all the accounting? Hell, they’re lucky they even got $120k. I’m sure your grandfather was watching over you during that time – making sure you got taken care of.
Hi, Where are you from? Is it a secret?
Have a nice day
meh- not a big deal. You can’t steal from dead people, and if the money wasn’t mentioned in the will, it’s up for grabs. At least you made sure granny would be well taken care of with the $120g. I wouldn’t tell anyone either, but just because they’ll be pissed that you didn’t cut them in.
Yea not a big deal.
Can I have some?
