Loading ...My Worst Secret is….
I was working in a restaurant a few years ago. I should probably insert here that I’m not against immigrants in any way shape or form. I’ve got a lot of friends from other countries and I don’t think immigrants are taking our jobs or anything like that. As in pretty much every restaurant, Hispanics made up a vast majority of the kitchen staff. Most of them were pretty cool and I went out of my way to help them and be friends with them since I spoke some Spanish.
I was selling a car of mine that was pretty beat up and didn’t demand a lot of money. One of the Hispanics in the kitchen decided he wanted to buy it from me. The price was already REALLY low but he tried to haggle me, make me feel bad and all sorts of crap about this car. I was selling it for like $250…how much are you going to haggle for a car that cheap? Finally he bought it and right after got a ticket in it. Since it was registered in my name the ticket went to me for some stupid reason even though he had purchased it. He should have paid the ticket but didn’t and I was super upset about it.
After that he made work nearly impossible; it was near hell because of him. He made up stories about things I supposedly did and told the managers and I almost lost my job. That was it, I didn’t care he was here illegally. I didn’t care that my freakin taxes pay for his uninsured ass. But if he’s going to come here and then almost make me lose my job, that’s where I draw the line. I called the cops and told them about a bunch of illegal things I knew he was doing (no lies), they came to his house and grabbed him, then INS got involved and he got deported. He got what was coming to him.

You are not a victim in this story. Perhaps this is your Worst Secret because what you did was immoral—you see people as a means to your end. Self-preservation is a natural human instinct but turning him in only benefited you need for revenge.

Wow…clearly the sarcastic nature of my question did not come through…or you are a witless idiot. But ignoring the rest of the points I brought up definitely has merit because they are fairly valid and I did not break the law or even lie to anyone about the anything related to this event.
yes, definitely agree. and I am sure that those other idiots would have done the same thing, or something along the same lines if put in the same situation. they def need to lighten up.

The illegal gentleman should have kept a lower profile and not been such an asshole. What did he expect? He knew he was here illegally and yet he decided to act like a jackass and bring negative attention to himself. His actions weren’t provoked. he chose to not register a car in his name, get a ticket, and not pay it, and chose to try to get a person who did him a favor fired. He should have been more decent because he knew what was at stake. I’m not for deporting illegals but I am for deporting assholes.

I’ll be the first one to tell you as in every races their are assholes. As in all races their is people who don’t appreciate others. And let me tell you ilegals that get paid by check are paying taxes, and social security. And when they retire they cant get social security so actually its not that bad.
I don’t think you were racist. I think you dealt with a problem in the most efficient and effective manner possible. You suffered no consequences (as opposed to shooting him, maiming him, defacing his property etc) and you got to exact maximum punishment out of it without having to get your hands dirty. Brilliant I say! Assholes of all races should be dealt with accordingly and that doesn’t make you racist. For all the other posters posting about racism and social security checks and who is paying what on taxes, that is totally besides the point and probably the biggest fucktardy problem in this country – taking things out of context.
I think anytime we can get illegals kicked out of this country, go for it!!
