Loading ...My Worst Secret is….
I am a owner of a small Tattoo shop in Vegas not too far from the strip. We see lots of people coming into town on vacation and think its a great time to get their next tattoo to remember the occasion. The problem is that we have hit some hard times with the recession and not as many people have the money to just spend it on a new tattoo or a touch-up of an old one. We usually don’t have the money to spend on all the needles so we put the “used needles” in a jar of alcohol after we use them to hopefully clean them off. Sometimes though we just wash them off quickly if we have to do another one right after the last.
If a customer ever comes back and complains about infection its really easy to just blame them and say they are not taking care of it properly after receiving the tattoo. Someday Vegas will start seeing the tourism again and the customers will start coming in off the street like they did before. Until then….lets hope the needles are disinfected enough before the next tattoo.

I’ve never gotten any ink done, but most of my friends and family have and let me say you are a worthless piece of shit, if I knew who you were I would fucking slit your throat but not before I tortured you for a very long time you have a responsibility in that profession to use brand new and sterile needles this is why people are getting hepatitis, and aids and shit do the world a favour and hang yourself.

Tattoo needles come in bulk, for pennies, get soldered to the bar for use in the machine, and are the autoclaved. running an autuclave through a sterilization cycle costs about the same as running a coffee maker for an hour. They will come out of the same bag that surgical instruments will. no one ‘keeps them in alchohol’

That is what I was thinking. Needles cost next to nothing. And health inspectors ride tattooists hard for health standards, especially in Vegas. They’d be caught in a second if they were doing something so completely and pointlessly stupid.
It is a lie.
I know, here are the worst secrets from everyone, so we cannot expect the best stories ever… but if this is true, it’s truly awful
